Hi, I’m Angel

Modeshy isn’t a big corporation or a massive warehouse it’s just me, a local small business owner with a lifelong love for clothing and a deep belief in looking out for our community.

My journey with fashion goes back a long way. I hold a Certificate III in Applied Fashion Design and Technology, so I’ve always had an eye for how clothes are made, the quality of fabrics, and unique styles. But more than that, I’ve been an avid op-shopper for over 30 years. Years ago before it was trendy, op-shops were how I clothed my own kids. I know exactly what it’s like to struggle to make ends meet being a single mother, and I know how important a helping hand can be.

For years, I channeled my passion into sourcing vintage and preloved treasures, selling them online through eBay, Etsy, and Depop. Building this website is my way of bringing that curated experience closer to home, focusing on quality, quirky, and beautiful items that deserve a second life.

Keeping it Local: Giving Back Directly

Having worked in disability support, caring for people is built into who I am. Right now, life is getting incredibly expensive. Even standard op-shop prices are rising, putting everyday clothing out of reach for a lot of local families.

I wanted to find a way to give back that actually makes a direct impact. In the past, any clothing that didn't quite fit the boutique's seasonal style was donated to charity shops. But I’ve decided to cut out the middleman.

Instead of letting these clothes get marked up on a store shelf, I am sorting and prepping them to give away 100% free, directly to local families in need, once a month.

How We Can Work Together

I’ve got the storage space, a big trailer ready to go, and I am actively collecting and sorting bags right now. Because I’m small and local, I rely on community connections to make this work. Here is how you can get involved:

• Sell Your Wardrobe Gems: If you have quality vintage or know someone who does, retro, or natural-fabric pieces you’d like to make some money on, I offer fair wholesale prices for items that fit the website's curation.

• Donate to the Monthly Giveaway: If you have clothing you just want to clear out, knowing it will go straight into the hands of a local family who needs it—completely free—I would be so grateful for your donations.

• Share Your Ideas: I am completely open to fresh ideas or collaborations on how to best reach the people who need this support the most.
